Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova, one of the former Russian pro tennis athlete, is now an American TV host. Her fame and popularity has made her one the best known tennis stars worldwide. Anna Kournikova is a former tennis pro who hails from Russia that was, at one point in being the most famous female player within the game. Kournikova had a decent singles record but had a huge success in doubles. Additionally, she was an extremely admired partner for Martina Hingis. Kournikova became famous throughout the world for her good fashion and modelling work. Kournikova played the ball fast and was able to spin it in the singles court. She was the contemporary baseline player. She played with a lot of power and used powerful groundstrokes. Kournikova was born in Moscow and both her parents played professional tennis. Sergei Kournikov was the winner of the world championships in wrestling, as Alla Kournikova was a skilled runner. Kournikova started playing tennis at the age of 5. When she was in 1991, the player relocated to Florida to study at an academy named Nick Bollettieri. When she became a professional, Kournikova has signed endorsement agreements with a whole bunch of brands, and quickly became the poster girl of women's tennis. She is an ex-professional tennis player in Russia. She made her debut in professional tennis when she was just the age of 14, and became the youngest player ever to compete and ultimately win the Fed Cup for Russia. She played in the U.S Open at 15 years old and reached she reached the Wimbledon semi-finals at 16 years old. She retired from tennis professionally at the age 21, due to back pain.
